Dyspraxia / DCD Therapist Recommendations

Dyspraxia Kids Australia is increasingly being asked for help finding appropriate doctors and therapists for families across Australia. The responses we collect here will assist us in establishing a database of potential support services that can assist with these enquiries. The database will remain private. All professionals recommended by families will be contacted to gain their consent to be placed on the database. Inclusion on the database will not amount to an endorsement by DKA, but simply provide us with some names that families can subsequently contact in the hope that they may be of some assistance.

We appreciate any recommendations you can make about professionals who have been helpful during your families journey.

University of Melbourne Community Engagement Program

We are students from the University of Melbourne conducting a Health Needs Analysis (HNA) in hope of identifying the health needs for Dyspraxia Kids Australia (DKA) so that DKA may better meet your child and family’s needs.
 
We will be referring to the term ‘developmental coordination disorder’ (DCD) in these questions which, for our purposes, are synonymous with dyspraxia. 
 
If you have more than one child with DCD, please fill in a separate questionnaire for each child for clarity purposes. 

The following questions are designed to help us gather normative data for DKA. If you could help us fill this in, we would really appreciate it.
